Coking Plants

  • Detarring of process gases by means of wet-type electrostatic precipitators

Ore Beneficiation

  • Cleaning of process and secondary gases from sintering, pelletizing and reduction plants using electrostatic precipitators (MEEP technology, for example), scrubbers or fabric filters

Pig Iron Production

  • Rough cleaning by means of dust catchers or cyclones
  • Fine cleaning using annular gap scrubbers or dry-type electrostatic precipitators
  • Energy recovery with top-gas expansion turbine
  • Casting shop dust collection by capturing via exhaust systems and cleaning in electrostatic precipitators or fabric filters

Oxygen Steel Plants

  • Wet dedusting of converter offgases using annular gap scrubbers
  • Capturing of secondary emissions via exhaust systems and dedusting by means of precipitators or fabric filters
  • Lurgi-Thyssen (LT) Steel Gas process

Electric Steel Mills

  • Combustion and cooling of primary gas in boiler components, with gas/air coolers as required
  • Capturing of secondary emissions via exhaust systems and dedusting by means of precipitators or fabric filters
  • Combined cleaning of primary and secondary offgases in central collectors

Rolling Mills

  • Gas cleaning in downstream steel processing facilites in rolling mills
